26th Wedding Anniversary Gift

It is my parent's 26th wedding anniversary later this year, and I have no idea what is the right gift for a 26th? They had a big party for their silver but want a quieter celebration this year.

It's not surprising you haven't been able to find a 26th anniversary gift as the traditional anniversary list has nothing for this year! Luckily the modern list has Jade or Original Pictures.

Jade could mean jewellery or it could mean using the color jade to find your gift. You can find some amazing jade colored glass at Novica.




If your parents are looking to have a quiter celebration why not have a special dinner at home, you could decorate the table with jade accents - table runner, glasses, candles and flowers. Choosing a jade theme dinner makes me think of Chinese food or you may want to cook their favorite meal.

Original Paintings don't come cheap so if you have the budget or know a new artist this may be out of your reach, or is it? An original painting could be by you! Or you could cheat and have a photograph framed, either way it would be a lovely personal gift.
